Dusty, dusky canyons
Filled with scrub
Awaited my
Appearance;
Life came
Out of thin
Air, forming
Quickly,
Evening dew.
The sun smiled
Broad
Upon the
Yawning
Face of boulders
Craning hard
To soak in
More, more
Light and
Somehow
Simply
More again.
My face,
That sun,
Those canyons:
This is where
I have come to.
