Friday morning at
Eleven-Oh-Five,
I wouldn’t have guessed I was
Even alive.
Blurred,
A week in transition.
I sit in the plaster and
Ponder with Council;
A wonder I’m happy since
Pain has been common and
Often.
I wish I was back to see
You all;
To celebrate your
Going of age,
Your passing of sense and
Nonsense.
But,
Dreams are more important
Than wishes.
