I have
Such
Memories; they
Come to
Me in
Waves, each
One
Crashing on the
Other,
Overcoming, and then
Fading. The
Camera did
Remember, but
You, alas,
Cannot – no
Happiness, no
Wonder; no
Ecstasy, no
Plot. But I
Can’t have
Been the
Only one
Who shared
What I
Now feel, like a
Wholly
Different
Movie,
Seen when
Viewing the
Same reel.
Say you’ll
Take
Another
Ticket – say
You
Surely
Will, and then,
Pass the
Peanuts and the
Popcorn, get a
Load of
Where we’ve
Been; if it
Doesn’t get a
Thumbs up,
I can see it
On my
Own.
